A Quiet Place is brilliant. Incredibly tense.
They don't think it be like it is, but it do

It's decent enough.  I wouldn't say it blew me away and the book is better.

The sequel is going to be odd though.  Not sure where they can take this further.

Haven't seen a film in ages.  Only see them when I am on a plane.  Expect a report in January after a few flights.

One Cut of the Dead

Low budget Japanese indie zombie film (sort of). Comedy. No spoilers.. I knew nothing about it at all and it was a delight seeing it unfold. But feel free to google it and find out the premise/plot if you hate surprises.

It was thoroughly original and brilliantly executed. One of the best things I've seen in a long time. 5675 triceratops. See it if you get the chance.
this is an excellent rectangle

Peterloo. Long. Very, very long. Worthy, but really f*cking long. Exposition upon exposition. Did I say it was long? By the denouement, despite my socialist leanings, I couldn't help but think "f*ck, plough the c*nts down so I can get out of here". Probably not as long as it seems but long.

Boy am I going to look even more stupid than usual when we romp to a 3-0 win.

The Outlaw King on Netflix.  It's like a rubbish Braveheart but without William Wallace.

Not sure what the fuss was about.  There was an armistice and then there wasn't and then running and battles.

I am guessing the English were a bit nasty to those pesky Scotch.  Bit like when Brexit happens and the Scots bugger off to the European union.  That's going to make my retirement to the highlands a bit of a bugger.

The first one or the second? First was excellent. Trailers for the second have annoyed me because it's such a lazy premise.

I've not seen it yet, by as it's about Robin Hood I'm fairly sure it'll be excellent. All movies about him are.

The television show was decent though.
