The EFL cannot, and should not, be able to interfere in legal commercial transactions.

They should,  and probably could, apply sanction under the rules of their competitions and association, including suspension,  and possible withdrawal, of the 'golden share '.

What you say is correct but does raise the question of why there are no requirements for owners and directors to follow the EFLs diversity policies. One might think that they are not really worth the paper they are written on.

Because it's a subjective judgment determining suitability for a commercial action. It would be my guess that the EFL can only legally prevent party A from selling a club to party B based upon a pretty strict and defined set of objective commercial criteria, and it's hard to think that "called someone a poof" could reasonably be defined within those criteria.

The Trust doesn't help themselves with questions like this:

3. Will the EFL be taking these comments into account when coming to their decision whether Curran and Rose meet the criteria for the fit and proper person test?

4. Is it not true that comments such as these completely contradict the diversity ethos demanded by all football governing bodies, and contravention by anyone, including anyone already with, or currently seeking approval for a controlling interest of any Club within the EFL, would automatically exclude them from such approval being granted?

The EFL doesn't have a Fit and Proper Person Test and hasn't for years. It has an Owners and Directors Test with clearly defined and published criteria, none of which apply to the accusations they're making.

So the answer to the question is a categorical "no", because the EFL isn't and can't be a closed shop that only allows admission to people it likes. There are objective criteria against which a potential owner is judged, and "said some things we didn't like" is not in any way objective.

It gets worse and in livid and worried sick.

My Grandaughter who is diabetic and has thyroid issues is really ill. We called an Ambuout and they said we can make you an   out if hours or take you in. My Grandaughter decided to see the out of hours as she is in extreme pain in her stomach and hip area and has been for over a week. Her Doctors have told her four times they will ring her but no call. Hence the deterioration in her condition. The out of hours suggested pancreautus and sent her to hospital. The A&E took  bloods but failed to give her the scan recommended by the out of hours GP before sending her home.

Today her Mam has phoned an Ambulwho again said A and E or her own GP. Her GP triage said no appointment for a week. The Paramedic agrees its possible Pancreautus but my Grandaughter won't go back to Doncaster after eight agonising hours in there last night. The NHS helpline has another appointment at an out of hours GP 15 miles away. Which she is taking. I'm pretty sure she will be admitted but she will only go to Barnsley as Doncaster said they are to busy to give her the scan to confirm the diagnosis. She has four children which we are taking away for a week tomorrow and she should be coming that won't happen though. The Doctor at Doncaster Emergency leafed through a book before sending her home.

Incidently three weeks ago she was admitted and we were told she would have died if we hadn't called the Ambulance when we did, her organs were closing down rapidly. If anything happens to her I would never recover she means everything to me.
